Legacy Giving

One Gift = Multiplied Impact
Leave your legacy with a gift that will impact the future of healthcare for your community. By proactively planning a gift as part of a financial plan YOU can help make a lasting impact for generations to come.

Legacy gifts are made when donors incorporating gift planning as part of their financial and/or estate plans wish to include support for the WVU Hospitals East Foundation.

Legacy giving not only benefits the community and medical centers for the future but also benefits YOU as a donor with contribution benefits including but not limited to additional income, reduced taxes, special recognition and more.

Be an Inspiration ~ Join the Legacy Society

Participation in Legacy Giving is critical in establishing a strong, lasting foundation in which future services, programs and medical advancements can be built on.

Giving Example
The Dorothy A. McCormack Center exists because of the visionary gift of Leonard McCormack who gave in loving memory of his wife, Dorothy. This building now houses the WVU Medicine Cancer Center at Berkeley Medical Center as well as the Heart and Vascular Institute, providing care for thousands of patients annually.
