United Hospital Center is pleased to announce the expansion of its neurosurgery services in north central West Virginia through a collaborative agreement with WVU Medicine. The partnership known as WVU Medicine Neurosurgery, Spine and Pain Center at United Hospital Center, will expand existing services to include more highly specialized physicians practicing in Bridgeport.

Neurosurgery is the specialized area of surgery dealing with the brain and central nervous system. This surgeon may be sub-specialized in spine surgery or other discreet areas of neurosurgery. At time this surgeon may provide services in conjunction with other surgeons (ENT as an example) to address a clinical problem.
