
Wound Care Clinic
The Wound Care Clinic takes advantage of the newest clinical tools in wound healing along with traditional clinical practices. Treatment includes regular visits for wound care, progress evaluations, and changes necessary to facilitate the healing process. Patients are also given instructions for wound care at home. The care for your patient at the Wound Care Clinic will focus on a holistic approach to wound healing which may include:
- Diabetic education
- Establishing home health wound care
- Nutritional assessment and counseling
- Patient and caregiver education
- Special needs for pressure relief

Center for Hyperbaric Medicine
At the Saint Francis Hospital Center for Hyperbaric Medicine, we will treat patients with wounds being treated by physicians other than those at our Wound Care Center. We also treat patients with other conditions, such as tissue damage from radiation. The center follows guidelines established by Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society and is affiliated with the Diver’s Alert Network.
