Visiting Hours
Thomas Memorial Hospital – Visiting Hours: 8 am – 8 pm.
ICU Critical Care
The care partner will be permitted to stay at the patient’s bedside almost anytime day or night. During emergencies, shift change or when certain procedures are taking place, the nurse may ask the care partner to step out. There is no restriction on visitation for those patients that are under palliative care. Otherwise, no more than two visitors at any given time during visiting hours and over the age of 13 may visit from: 8 – 9:30 am, 12:30 – 1:30 pm, 5 – 6 pm, 7:30 pm – 8 pm.
Step-Down Unit
The care partner will be permitted to stay at the patient’s bedside almost anytime day or night. During emergencies, shift change or when certain procedures are taking place, the nurse may ask the care partner to step out. The cafeteria at Thomas Memorial Hospital is open 7 – 10 am for breakfast and 11 am – 3 pm for lunch every day.
Thomas Orthopedic Hospital on WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals Saint Francis Campus
The cafeteria at Saint Francis is open 7 – 10 am for breakfast and 11 am – 3 pm for lunch Monday – Friday and closed on the weekends.
Cafe 46 at Thomas Memorial Hospital
Cafe ’46, located in the cafeteria at Thomas Memorial Hospital, is now open! Cafe ’46 serves Starbucks brand coffee and treats. Their hours are Monday – Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm.
