“Every Heartbeat Matters” will support Cardiology Services and Cardiac Rehabilitation at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the state of West Virginia, which has the highest rate of heart disease in the nation at 14.6 percent.
Funds raised from the campaign will be used to provide the hospital with a Transesophageal Ultrasound Probe, which allows physicians to see the back of the heart; a GE Bike Stress Echo Tilt Table to provide patients with restricted mobility an easier stress testing; and Cardiac Rehabilitation Equipment for the hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Suite.
St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, making donations tax-deductible. Donations can be made with check or credit card or on Paypal by accessing the Foundation’s page at WVUMedicine.org/St-Josephs-Hospital.
