HERE’S THE DEAL.

Sign-on bonuses vary. The longer you stay, the more you earn!

$15,000 Sign-on Bonus

  • Three-year commitment
  • $5,000 paid upon hiring
         + $5,000 after years one and two 

$10,000 Sign-on Bonus

  • Two-year commitment
  • $5,000 paid upon hiring
         + $5,000 after year one

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus

  • One-year commitment
  • Paid upon hiring

WHO’S ELIGIBLE?

 

  • Direct care, hospital-based RN positions throughout the WVU Medicine system (RN position levels I through V)

     

  • Newly-hired, benefit-eligible direct care, hospital-based RN positions with no current affiliation to WVU Medicine or affiliation within the last two years

DON’T WAIT!

Sign-on bonuses will be offered to candidates who accept job offers in qualifying positions through December 31, 2021.

The Fine Print…

 

  • RNs accepting part-time (0.5 to 0.8 FTE) positions are eligible for 50 percent of the bonus. 
  • Employee will be contractually obligated to stay with organization for a defined period of time in the same job, FTE, and department. If employee leaves or transfers prior to completed the time period, the employee must pay the bonus back in full.
  • Individuals promoted to leadership role will be reviewed on case-by-case basis for payback purposes.

That’s not all…

 

RN STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM

The Student Loan Repayment Program will assist eligible full-time RNs with repayment of their student loans. The program is targeted to RNs in good standing, who fill critical positions within the organization (RN position levels I – V).

 

DETAILS:

  • WVU Medicine will pay up to $437.50/month or $5,250 annually to cover the minimum required loan payment for up to five years.
    The loan must be the original student loan and not one refinanced.

  • RN will be contractually obligated to stay with the organization for a defined period of time in the same job, FTE, and department. If the employee leaves or transfers prior to required time period, the employee must pay back any loan payments going back two years.

  • RN cannot participate in the Student Loan Repayment Program if already taking part in the Tuition Assistance Programs.
