About Our Volunteer Program

At WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center, we are fortunate to benefit from a dedicated group of men and women who volunteer their time in support of our mission to improve the health status of Eastern Panhandle residents by providing excellence in health and wellness services, expanding access to care, and participating in the education of healthcare professionals.

Adult volunteers serve in greeter positions and in similar supportive roles that do not involve direct hands on patient care.

To participate in our Adult Volunteer Program, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and are asked to commit to a minimum of four (4) hours of volunteer service per week.

High school and college students may find interest in the Job Shadowing Opportunity.  The qualifications for such can be found within this link.
