Alexander Bitzer, MD
Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Bitzer specializes in sports medicine, shoulder and elbow surgery, and hip preservation. He was a NCAA Division I soccer athlete in college and was subsequently accepted to the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia where he received his medical degree.

He then completed a residency at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD followed by a prestigious sports medicine and shoulder and elbow fellowship at OrthoCarolina Sports Medicine Center. There he received advanced training in complex sports medicine, shoulder/elbow, and hip preservation techniques. In addition, he served as an associate team physician for several teams at both the collegiate and professional level.

He has numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and presented his research at various national and international conferences. He was recently elected as a candidate member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) society and currently serves on the board of the West Virginia Orthopedic Society.

Dr. Bitzer is fluent in Spanish and German. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing classical guitar, soccer, formula one racing, traveling and the outdoors.

Seth Eberhardt, DPM
Podiatric Foot & Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Eberhardt has advanced subspeciality training in the surgical repair and treatment of a full spectrum of conditions of the foot and ankle. He specializes in the treatment of trauma and fractures of the foot and ankle, adult and pediatric reconstructive surgery, ligament and tendon repair, ankle arthroscopy, and diabetic limb construction.

He is board certified in forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Using the latest surgical technologies, Dr. Eberhardt has treated hundreds of patients with minimally invasive procedures that help them get back to their normal lives as quickly as possible.

Dr. Eberhardt is married with two sons and involved in his local church. He enjoys spending time outdoors golfing, fishing and hunting.

M. Leslie Golden, MD
Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Golden specializes in the surgical repair of sports injuries including ACL and other ligament tears of the knee, meniscus tears, shoulder injuries, rotator cuff tears, and ankle fractures. She completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Utah where she provided medical assistances to student athletes. She also supported athletes during here residency at the University of North Carolina.

Dr. Golden serves as the team physician for Shepherd University. She enjoys running and playing tennis. She has a special interest in treating women athletes and helping them return to activity following an injury.

Dwight Kemp, DO
Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Kemp has been an orthopaedic surgeon since 1994. He has advanced training in adult reconstruction and has performed thousands of successful procedures. In addition to managing all aspects of conditions of the upper and lower extremities, he specializes in shoulder, hip and knee replacement surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kemp has been actively involved with the Boy Scouts, Rotary, team physicians, and his church. He is a father of four with one grandchild. When he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time hiking and traveling. 

David P. Richards, MD
Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Richards has over 20 years of advanced experience as an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic reconstructions of the shoulder and knee as well as general sports medicine. He was born and raised in Canada where he attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, one of the country’s top medical schools. He completed two fellowships including intensive Shoulder Arthroscopy traning under, Dr. S. S. Burkhart, one of the leading shoulder arthroscopists in the world. There Dr. Richards learned the cutting-edge shoulder arthroscopic techniques that he uses in his practice.

Dr. Richards is a Master Instructor with the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He has written 28 publications and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a member of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery, and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).

Dr. Richards is an avid athlete and played college basketball for the University of Calgary Dinosaurs in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is married with 5 children and enjoys hiking, fly fishing and creating art in his free time. 

Michael Seem, MD
Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Seem specializes in total joint replacement surgery, encompassing primary, complex, and revision total joint replacements, with an emphasis on outpatient and same day discharge surgery. His training includes minimally invasive hip and knee replacements, the anterior approach total for total hip replacements, partial knee replacements, as well as cutting-edge techniques like robotic surgery and computer-assisted surgery.

Aligning with his interest in technology, Dr. Seem received an award during his surgical residency for the most outstanding research project related to the use of virtual reality for surgical training. Through his dedication to staying at the forefront of medical technology, he aims to offer his patients the highest level of precision, safety, and innovation in orthopedic procedures.

Dr. Seem is excited to return to his hometown in the eastern panhandle, where he was raised. During his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, son and two dogs. He loves golfing, soccer, cycling and spending time outside.

Dr. Seem looks forward to giving back to the community that has played a significant role in shaping his life and is committed to making a positive impact through his medical expertise and compassionate care.

Emran Sheikh, MD
Hand & Wrist Surgeon

Dr. Sheikh has 20 years of experience as a skilled surgeon focusing on hand surgery, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve reconstruction. He is board certified in plastic surgery and surgery of the hand by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.  He has extensive experience in hand and wrist surgery and has won multiple awards, including recognition from the American Association for Hand Surgery and the International Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

He has a special interest in brachial plexus, chronic regional pain, endoscopic carpal tunnel release, restless leg syndrome, diabetic neuropathy, intractable after spine and orthopedic procedures.

G. Bradford “Brad” Wright, MD
Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery

Dr. Wright is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in total joint replacement and sports medicine. He is Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at WVU Medicine Berkeley and Jefferson Medical Center and serves as Medical Staff President for Jefferson Medical Center.

Dr. Wright has over 35 years of experience as a skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon. He is proud to live in the Eastern Panhandle and says his patients are some of the most wonderful people he’s had the pleasure of meeting in his life.

He is fluent in German, an avid volunteer, and an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
