Mike Ortiz will leave his current position for a new role with WVU Medicine -- vice president for clinical operations at Reynolds Memorial Hospital -- effective June 1.
Ortiz, who has been with the enterprise for 34 years, most recently served as assistant vice president of support services. Previously, he was the director of respiratory services from 1990-2010.
Ortiz also served in a variety of roles, including director of 7 East, 7 West, and 9 East; director of environmental services; and director of rehabilitation services. He coordinated the opening and transition to the new Southeast Tower at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in January.
