Dr. Eric Bradley Joins WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital as New Sports Medicine Physician
Uniontown, PA — As part of its growing orthopedics program, WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital has welcomed its first sports medicine physician, Dr. Eric Bradley, to its team.
“I grew up in athletics and know how injuries changed how I felt when I wasn’t able to participate in those sports or activities that I liked,” Bradley said about his background. “Knowing how that feels and being able to help people get back to the activities they like, sports they enjoy, and things that bring meaning to their life is a very fulfilling thing for me.”
A 2018 Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine graduate, Bradley specializes in sports medicine injuries and surgeries for both athletes and active adults of all skill levels. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, and has worked with numerous sports teams including Team USA Rugby, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Peters Township High School football team, and the Pittsburgh Forge rugby team.
“We are excited to add Dr. Bradley’s specialization in sports medicine to the growing Orthopedic and Spine Center at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital. Dr. Bradley’s experience in treating active adults to professional athletes, along with his steadfast commitment to excellent patient care make him a great addition to our team,” noted Dr. Ziad Dimachkie, Chief Medical Officer.
The Sports Medicine Program at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital’s Orthopedics and Spine Center offers a variety of comprehensive solutions for people with sports and activity-related injuries. Whether you’re a competitive athlete or an active adult, the new program can assist with knee, shoulder, elbow, and ankle issues and surgeries.
