WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center celebrates reopening of inpatient rooms
FAIRMONT, W.Va. – WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center has completed renovations on its third floor and reopened acute patient care rooms.

“We are excited about our continued revitalization of the facility,” Aaron Yanuzo, WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center chief operations officer, said. “This project reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care close to home for the residents of Marion County and surrounding areas.”
The newly renovated patient rooms feature modern amenities designed to promote healing and help patients and their visitors feel more comfortable during their stay.
The ongoing renovations to WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center are intended to align the facility with the standard of care provided at the WVU Medicine flagship J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and other System facilities.
“We’re excited to continue to improve Fairmont Medical Center, bringing life to a facility and building that has played a vital role to Fairmont and Marion County for more than 50 years,” Michael Grace, Ed.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.H.E., WVU Hospitals president and chief administrative officer for the WVU Health System, said. “We’re excited to see the next phases of our plan come together for our patients, staff, and the community.”
