If you can share a smile and lend a helping hand, Princeton Community Hospital needs you! We’re always looking for volunteers to work in a variety of jobs throughout the hospital, including:
- Manning the information desk
- Assisting with admitting and discharging patients
- Assisting patients and staff in Outpatient Oncology
- Assisting staff in Pulmonary Rehab
- Transporting patients throughout the hospital by wheelchair
- Running errands for the lab and other areas of the hospital
- Delivering flowers and newspapers
- Working the SurgiCall CareLine desk, keeping the families of surgical patients updated on their progress during their procedure
- Helping to raise money for a number of hospital initiatives, including scholarships and new construction
Requirements
- Ability to commit to at least four hours of service per week
- Current TB test (within 12 months)
- Ability to push wheelchairs and carts
- Ability to take direction
- Positive attitude
Anyone age 15 or over may become a Princeton Community Hospital volunteer. Because training is provided, no experience is necessary.
