Izhar A. Rana, MD
Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Izhar A. Rana earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. His internship and residency were completed at the Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Beginning in 1981, Dr. Rana has been a member of the medical staff at Princeton Community Hospital, Bluefield Regional Medical Center, and St. Luke’s Hospital. From 1994 to 1998, he served as Chief Medical Officer at Princeton Community Hospital.

From 1981 to 2000, Rana was a partner with Surgical Associates, Inc., in Princeton, West Virginia.

Rana was in private practice from 2001 to 2017. In 2018, he joined Bluefield Surgical Services, located in Princeton, where he continues his practice today.
