The Auxiliary of St. Joseph's Hospital provides volunteers to serve patients, visitors, and hospital employees. They are dedicated to addressing healthcare needs, providing scholarships to area students pursuing a healthcare career in West Virginia, and financially contributing to the hospital’s purchase of necessary equipment throughout the year.

They volunteer their time and energy in several areas of the hospital, including the gift shop, information desk (registration), nursing care facility, and the cheer cart, delivering magazines and other free gifts to patients. They also help with any special projects, which include stuffing mailers, linen packs, or assisting in hospital events.

Those interested in volunteering can contact Patty McComas, president of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary, at 304-472-7941.
