BUCKHANNON, W.VA. -- The St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation is seeking donations for its end-of-the-year campaign, which is dedicated to replacing the Hospital's nurse call system in the second floor patient rooms, Emergency Department, and PromptCare.
The current system is more than 35 years old, and replacement parts are no longer available. Installation of this new system will enable patients to connect immediately with their nurses.
Total cost for the project is $210,000. The Foundation Board has allocated the bulk of its remaining balance, $155,000, to the project, leaving a remainder of $55,000 needed to fully fund the new system.
