Jena Prokopchuk, director, Rosenbaum Family House
Aly Goodwin-Gregg, president, Rosenbaum Family House advisory board
Former guests of the Rosenbaum Family House

WHAT: This event serves as the official kick off of the Expansion of Hope Campaign, which will enable Rosenbaum Family House to serve more families and to enhance the existing environment for those who stay there to be close to their loved ones.

WHEN: Saturday, Aug. 28, 10:30 a.m. welcome and buffet brunch

11:30 a.m. program begins

WHERE: Blaney House

WHY: Every room in Rosenbaum Family House is full every night. On any given day, some 20 families will be waiting for a room and may need to wait up to eight days before a room becomes available. Opened in 1999, Rosenbaum Family House is proud to serve so many families each year, but the need exceeds its ability to help. For more information on Rosenbaum Family House, see http://health.wvu.edu/rosenbaum/index.aspx.

NOTE: Members of the media are welcome to attend the brunch; please RSVP attendance to Angela Jones, 304-293-7087, or Becky Lofstead, 304-293-9358, by Friday. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to Blaney House. Following the event, a shuttle bus will provide transportation (to and from Blaney) for a tour of Family House.
