BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Donors are needed for a blood drive at The Event Center at Brushy fork in Buckhannon on Friday, February 4. Sponsors include St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur. Blood will be drawn by Vitalant, the blood supplier for St. Joseph’s Hospital and United Hospital Center.
Blood supplies are critically low, so donors are strongly urged to give blood.
In addition, donations of non-perishable food will be collected by the Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur for the Upshur Cooperative Parish House Food Pantry. Items needed include non-perishable foods such as canned vegetables, canned beans, and grape jelly.
