Community program to address maintaining good health year round

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center and the WVU Health Sciences Center Eastern Campus will sponsor a community mini-medical school program on nutrition and physical activity to stay healthy during the holidays and year round.

The seminar will be held at 7 p.m. on Nov. 13 in the auditorium of the Health Sciences Center on the Berkeley Medical Center campus. The program will feature WVU Medicine’s Mark Cucuzzella, M.D., and Dana DeJarnett. Topics include maintaining regular exercise, eating healthy on a busy schedule, enjoying treats safely, and how stress affects your health.

Registration for the mini-medical school program begins at 6:30 p.m. It is being offered free to the public as a community service of WVU Medicine and the WVU Health Sciences Center Eastern Campus.
