MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU Medicine will host a community day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at its new outpatient clinic on Murtha Drive in Waynesburg, Pa.
The event will offer attendees:
- The opportunity to meet WVU Medicine providers
- Tours of the facility
- Free flu shots for patients age 3 and older (while supplies last)
- Free blood pressure screenings
- Child seat safety checks (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
Children can bring a stuffed animal for the teddy bear clinic, enjoy face painting, and tour rescue vehicles, including an ambulance, fire truck, and helicopter.
Members of the community are invited to view antique, classic, and modern cars (weather permitting) and participate in raffles and giveaways. Local food vendors will be available.
