WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital to reopen PromptCare walk-in clinic

BUCKHANNON, W.VA. – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital will reopen the PromptCare walk-in Clinic on Monday, May 15, after an extended closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The clinic is located in the main hospital’s Emergency Department and will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., providing patients with affordable care for minor illnesses and injuries. For patient convenience, lab and x-ray services are available onsite, and no appointments are necessary.

“We are pleased to be able to reopen our PromptCare walk-in clinic,” Linda Smith, R.N., director of the Emergency Department and Outpatient Services, said. “We know that the public has been looking forward to having this option available again for convenient care when needed.”
