WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital recognizes National Nutrition Month

BUCKHANNON, WV – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital is recognizing National Nutrition Month in March by promoting the importance of making informed food choices while developing both sound eating and physical activity habits. National Nutrition Month is an opportunity to remind the public that registered dietitians are the most valuable and credible sources of timely and scientifically based food and nutrition information.

This year, the National Nutrition Month® theme is “Celebrate a World of Flavors,” embracing global cultures, cuisines, and inclusivity.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day was recognized on March 9. As the nation's food and nutrition experts, registered dietitian nutritionists are committed to improving the health of their patients, families, and communities.
