WVU Medicine East names new board director

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – The board of directors of WVU Medicine East, Berkeley Medical Center and Jefferson Medical Center, recently announced the appointment of Lindsey Hash to the health system board.

Hash works for the Berkeley County prosecuting attorney’s office as a victim’s advocate. She provides a range of services for victims and witnesses of crime including advocacy and referral services. She also assists with testimony preparation, arranging meeting with prosecutors and managing arrangements for victims.

A 2015 graduate of West Virginia University, Hash holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Political Science. As a social worker she has experience working with diverse populations in a variety of fields including case management at a residential facility for adolescents with behavioral and substance use disorders.

Hash, a resident of Charles Town, was appointed to a three-year term on the WVU Medicine East board. The 15-member board includes representatives from Berkeley and Jefferson Counties as well as Morgantown.
