WVU Medicine Camden Clark Receives Top Ratings in Newest Healthgrades and CareChex Rankings Release

Parkersburg W.Va - WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center has been named among the top 10% in the nation for treatment of heart attack, heart failure, stroke, overall medical care, cancer care, and orthopedic care, according to two national studies released by Healthgrades, the leading online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals and by Quantros, the healthcare industry’s leading provider of performance analytics, risk management and quality management solutions through their CareChex® ratings.

Every year, Healthgrades evaluates hospital performance at almost 4,500 hospitals nationwide for the most common inpatient procedures and conditions, and identifies top-performing hospitals where outcomes are statistically significantly better than expected and the findings are released in the Healthgrades 2019 Report to the Nation. The new report demonstrates how clinical performance differs dramatically between hospitals nationally, regionally and at the local level, and the impact that this variation has on health outcomes.
