WVU Medicine Camden Clark Provides Community Free Admission to Parkersburg Art Center for the Year

WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center has provided the Parkersburg Art Center a $5,000 admissions sponsorship to be enjoyed by the community beginning now and continuing through December 2023.

The sponsorship by Camden Clark will provide free gallery admission to anyone, allowing the community to enjoy any of the 15 – 20 rotating exhibits presented in the Art Center’s five gallery spaces throughout the year.

The admission sponsorship to the Parkersburg Art Center demonstrates Camden Clark’s commitment to preserving the non-profit arts organization that has been a keystone of the community since 1938.

“Giving back to the communities we serve, and in particular, those of all ages who can benefit from the many programs offered by the Parkersburg Art Center aligns with Camden Clark’s mission,” said WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center President and CEO, Steve Altmiller. “We are proud to support by sponsoring free admission to the Art Center for all to enjoy starting this holiday season, and continuing through December of 2023.”

The gift was welcomed by the Director of the Parkersburg Art Center, Jessie Siefert.

“It makes us feel appreciated,” Siefert said.

The community sponsorship was celebrated with a check presentation taking place on Wednesday, December 21.
