WVU Medicine Allied Health Solutions Specialty Pharmacy now part of PEIA specialty pharmacy network

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The WVU Medicine Allied Health Solutions Specialty Pharmacy is now part of the Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA) insurance specialty pharmacy network and able to fill specialty prescriptions, such as Humira® and Enbrel®.

The WVU Medicine Allied Health Solutions Specialty Pharmacy is a West Virginia-based pharmacy that fills prescriptions for patients with unique and complicated medical conditions. 

Specialty pharmacies provide medications for complicated or unique diseases, such as cystic fibrosis, HIV, and multiple sclerosis. They work with insurance companies and physicians to make sure patients are able to access the medications they need and make sure those medications are delivered safely.
