St. Joseph’s Hospital staff assisting in Upshur County COVID-19 vaccination clinics

BUCKHANNON, W.VA. – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital staff are helping the community become vaccinated against COVID-19.

Staff members are working alongside community partners at the vaccination clinic held on Fridays at the Events Center at Brushy Fork in Buckhannon. The participating community partners include the Upshur County Health Department, Community Care of West Virginia, the Upshur County Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, the Upshur County Commission, the Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur, and West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Appointments are required. Anyone 65 years of age and older interested in the vaccine should call 1-833-734-0965, or visit vaccinate.wv.gov to be placed on the waiting list. Those who have already been put on the waiting list in Upshur County do not need to register again.
