Ribbon cutting for St. Joseph's Hospital Ophthalmology Clinic to be held Oct. 8

BUCKHANNON, W.VA. -- A ribbon cutting will be held for the St. Joseph’s Hospital Ophthalmology Clinic at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8.  

The clinic is staffed by WVU Eye Institute physicians, who will be performing cataract surgeries and providing retinal injections. Allison Bardes, M.D., Lingo Lai, M.D., Thomas Mauger, M.D., and Lee A. Wiley, M.D., will be performing cataract surgeries, and Carol Laxson, M.D., will be the medical retinal specialist.  

The ribbon cutting will be held at the clinic, located on the first floor of St. Joseph’s Physician Office Center at 94 West Main Street.

Patients wanting to see a physician in the clinic must first contact their optometrists for a referral.
