Quality Service Award recipient announced at Berkeley Medical Center

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Katie Crawford Lutman, R.N., I.C.U., was recently named WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center’s Quality Service Award winner for January 2017.

Each month, the Center’s Service Award Committee selects an employee to receive the Quality Service Award. Lutman was nominated by colleagues who stated,” As one of our critical care nurse exemplars, many within our organization often seek Katie’s advice to solve a multitude of problems.  Her commitment to excellence was recently demonstrated when she went to the ED to assist with a challenging patient at a time of crisis. Her role as a leader, educator, and mentor is irreplaceable and a great asset to the ICU and our organization.”
