The West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI) has compiled a COVID-19 patient data registry in collaboration with WVU Medicine.
This registry contains detailed information on patients who were tested for COVID-19 in the WVU Medicine system, encompassing all patients with both positive and negative results.
“While facing such an unprecedented public health emergency, providing our state’s investigators with the tools they need to combat this issue through innovative research projects has never been more important,” said Sally Hodder, MD, WVCTSI director, associate vice president for clinical and translational science, and infectious diseases professor with WVU. “This registry will provide our scientists with current and accurate data from across the Mountain State.”
Currently, the registry contains over 6000 negative cases and 324 positive cases. This registry will be updated daily to incorporate new diagnoses, procedures, labs, and medications for all COVID-19 tested patients, including ICU stays, ventilator use, and other pertinent information
Custom datasets and sub-registries may be requested by researchers from contributing medical institutions by completing the Biomedical Informatics Data Request Form or the Registry request form in the WVCTSI Clinical Research Design, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics Core in iLab.
