Camden Clark and Washington County Career Center Honor Class of New CMA Training Program Graduates

WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center and the Washington County Career Center honored 11 graduates on Wednesday, July 27 for their completion of the new Certified Medical Assistant training program. The new, accelerated training program partners Washington County Career Center, WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center, and WorkForce WV to offer career development for current Camden Clark employees.

The Career Center created a 17-week program that allows Camden Clark employees to advance their careers in Clinical Procedures and Pharmacology and to sit for the National CMA Certification. The students were funded by grants through WorkForce WV and Camden Clark Medical Center, allowing them to continue to work full time with tuition costs covered.
