Camden Clark and United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley Celebrate Community Partnership and 2022 Fundraising Efforts

WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center has provided the United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley a donation totaling $24,050, comprised of funds raised from Camden Clark’s 2022 United Way Workplace Campaign and a pledge from Camden Clark to match employee gifts to the United Way.

Camden Clark launched its 2022 United Way Workplace Campaign in November and continued fundraising efforts through December. Employees rallied together in support of local communities throughout the season of giving through employee pledges and fundraisers.

“The United Way is a vital resource for health, education and financial stability to many residents of the Mid-Ohio Valley,” said WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center President and CEO, Steve Altmiller. “I am humbled by the efforts of our employees to come together during the season of giving to help our neighbors in need. We look forward to continuing to this partnership in 2023 to support the efforts and impacts the United Way provides throughout our communities.”

The community partnership amongst Camden Clark and the United Way was celebrated with a check presentation taking place on Thursday, January 12.

“We are so thankful for the partnership with WVU Medicine Camden Clark. The employee giving campaign, and the generous match by the hospital is yet one more example of the success and value of this partnership in our community,” said Stacy DeCicco, United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley Executive Director. “The team at Camden Clark is a constant source of productive collaboration and intentional impact. We are humbled that their employees chose to give so generously through this year’s workplace campaign and that the hospital is matching those efforts to create an even bigger footprint of impact. Our United Way remains strong because of amazing community partnerships just like the one with WVU Medicine Camden Clark.”
