Family Medicine providers care for patients of all ages including infants, children, adults, and seniors. Our providers are highly trained to assist you with the entire spectrum of common medical issues that may affect you and your family members.
Family medicine’s cornerstone is an ongoing, personal patient-physician relationship focusing on integrated care. Providing patients with a personal medical home, family physicians deliver a range of acute, chronic and preventive medical care services Unlike other specialties that are limited to a particular organ, disease, age or sex, family medicine integrates care for patients of both genders across the full spectrum of ages within the context of community and advocates for the patient in an increasingly complex health care system.
Our services range from health screenings to physical exams and vaccinations to management of chronic conditions, such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
All WVU Medicine Family Medicine locations are currently accepting new patients. Same day appointments are available at select locations. Hours vary per location. To schedule an appointment, call 855-WVU-CARE or click here to schedule online.
