Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days®

Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days® is a 15-week walking program which encourages participants to develop the habit of walking at least one mile a day as a form of exercise.

Now in its 30th year, the annual program will start on May 20 and will run through August 27.

“Last year we had over 7,800 people participate,” said Dave Harshbarger, wellness manager for WVU Medicine making Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days® the largest exercise program in the state.

T-Shirt Orders:

Participants can purchase a commemorative t-shirt for a nominal fee through our specially licensed vendor Davis & Lee. Information on ordering a T-shirt will be shared by May 20.

Kick-off walk:

There will be a kick-off walk this year held on-site at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, May 22 at 12:00 Noon. The walk will be led by the WVU Mountaineer mascot and all are welcome to participate and will gather at the outside entrance next to the Bruce McClymonds Conference Center to go for a one mile walk (weather permitting).
