Fresh Start Workshop (Mindfulness/Mindful Steps event)

Now is a great time to get a fresh start on your mindfulness practice as summer is ending and life is picking up speed. Whether you are a seasoned meditator or learning for the first time, this experiential 30 minute workshop will help you meet the demands of life with more intention, focus, and calm.
A relaxing sequence of mindfulness techniques will be explored, such as gentle movement, breath awareness, and guided meditation. Come for a fresh start, and by the end feel restored, centered, and energized.

Basic Agenda (30 minutes – all segment times are approximate):
Julie – Introduction and basic intention of Fresh Start workshop (3 minutes)
Heidi – Movement and breathing practice (12 minutes)
Laurel – Basic mindfulness meditation with breath awareness (10 minutes)
Julie – Heart centered meditation to close the session (5 minutes)
