The Radiation Oncology Department at Thomas Hospitals is pleased to offer oncology patients advanced radiation techniques including Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), and Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT). These techniques allow maximum dose delivery to the tumor while limiting exposure to the surrounding healthy tissues. With Tara Hansen, MD as our Radiation Oncologist and a new TrueBeam linear accelerator, the department offers an advanced level of care and excellence in treating cancer.
