Visual Designer                                

Department: Marketing and Communications

Position Summary: Provides expertise to St. Joseph’s Hospital Marketing Department in graphic arts and visual standards. Works with the Vice President of Marketing, Public Relations and Foundation of St. Joseph’s Hospital to help shape the visual image of the hospital, physicians and hospital services. Assures the high quality appearance of publications, advertisements, videos, and Internet communications.

Responsible for projects including publications, advertisements and other printed pieces, digital and print billboards, signage, video, and photo acquisition. This position is an integral part of the Marketing and Communications team.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, fine arts or related field; Two years of experience with design, imaging, and other multi-media programs Two years of experience with Adobe print and imaging software (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and with website software such as WordPress.
