How do I refill my prescriptions?
By monitoring your medications, you can avoid a delay in refilling your prescriptions. We recommend that you check the status of your medications before each visit so that you can ask for refills while you’re in the office.
Between visits, you can request a refill by calling us during regular office hours. When calling the office, have your pharmacy telephone number available for refills or new medications that may be prescribed. Please have an alternate pharmacy number available if your primary pharmacy is not open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You can also request refills through MyWVUChart.
How do I obtain lab and test results?
Most test results take between 24-48 hours to be processed. Test results are reported as soon we receive the information from the laboratories. You can view them at your convenience in MyWVUChart. If you haven’t received your test result(s) after 48 hours, contact your primary care provider’s office.
What’s your no-show/cancellation policy?
For the convenience of all our patients and staff, we require a 24-hour notice when patients need to cancel an appointment. New and regular patients who cancel or are a no-show without sufficient notice may be released from the system.
What’s your financial policy?
Patient payment is due at the time of service. Non-payment could result in rescheduling, delaying, or canceling your appointment.
We provide emergency care to all patients regardless of their ability to pay. A medical screening will be completed to determine medical need.
How do I update my personal information?
If you have an address, telephone, or insurance change, notify the front desk staff when signing in at your primary care provider’s office.
