WVU Medicine welcomes psychiatrist

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center and University Healthcare Physicians announce the addition of Raja Mogallapu, M.D., psychiatrist, to WVU Medicine Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry in Martinsburg.

Dr. Mogallapu received his medical degree from Sri Rama Chandra Medical College in Chennai, India. He completed his psychiatric residency training at NRI Medical College in India and Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following his residency, he stayed in Philadelphia and completed a fellowship in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry at Drexel University.

Mogallapu is member of the Berkeley Medical Center medical staff and serves as an assistant professor of medicine at the WVU School of Medicine. In addition to general psychiatry, he specializes in neurologically-based behavioral issues including traumatic brain injury and dementia.
