WVU Medicine to open Spring Mills office building

FALLING WATERS, W.VA. – Officials from WVU Medicine and University Healthcare Physicians (UHP) announced today (May 1) that a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for the Spring Mills medical office building will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday (May 4).

Spring Mills medical officeThe three-story, 40,000 square foot facility is located off Interstate 81 at the Spring Mills exit on 3.57 acres at the intersection of Route 11 and Campus Drive. The medical building, owned by UHP, houses an urgent care along with primary care and specialty care clinics.  

WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center is leasing space in the building to establish various satellite services in northern Berkeley County. According to Anthony P. Zelenka, president and CEO, a women’s imaging center and lab/X-ray services have been established by the hospital to support the physician practices and urgent care. 

Brechbill and Helman Construction Company of Chambersburg was the contractor for the $13.5 million project, which will open on May 7. The building was designed by Grove and Dall’Olio Architects of Gerrardstown.
