WVU Medicine to celebrate opening of new sleep center at Viking Way Commons

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center and Jefferson Medical Center announce the opening of the new sleep center at Viking Way Commons in Martinsburg.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by WVU Medicine and the Martinsburg Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce will be held at 11 a.m. on May 29. The public is welcome to attend. Tours will be offered following the ceremony until 1 p.m.

The WVU Medicine Center for Sleep Medicine, a department of Berkeley Medical Center, features eight rooms with Sleep Number® beds and private bathrooms for patients' comfort and convenience.

The center offers state-of-the-art diagnostic services for a full range of sleep disorders, including snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy. Testing is performed by registered polysomnographers, and studies are interpreted by board-certified sleep physicians.
