WVU Medicine St. Joseph's Hospital receives donation from businessman Mike Ross

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Mike Ross, St. Joseph’s Foundation board member and president of Ross & Wharton Gas Company, presented a donation to Skip Gjolberg, WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital administrator, for use by the hospital’s Foundation. This gift will be dedicated to the Foundation’s year-end appeal, which will be directed toward purchase of new equipment for St. Joseph’s Hospital’s operating room suite.

“We greatly appreciate Mr. Ross’s dedication to St. Joseph’s Hospital and its Foundation,” Gjolberg said. “His support helps to ensure the sustainability of the hospital and our ability to provide quality healthcare to our community.”

St. Joseph’s Foundation is a non-profit, 501-C organization that provides funds for needs at the hospital. Most recently, Foundation funds were utilized to purchase new recliners with heat and massage capabilities for the chemotherapy suite at the hospital.
