BUCKHANNON, W.VA. – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital is recognizing its respiratory therapists during National Respiratory Care Week, recognized Oct. 23 to 29.
Established in 1982, this week is dedicated to celebrating respiratory care professionals, honoring their contributions to patient care, and boosting interest in becoming a respiratory therapist.
The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the important role RTs play in supporting recovery from the long-haul effects of COVID-19. Their dedication has been critical to saving lives during the pandemic.
