WVU Medicine CCMC Holds Annual Luminary Dedication and Tree Lighting Ceremony

Lighting the Way to Honor and Memorialize Friends in our Community

The Camden Clark Foundation’s annual “Lighting the Way” Luminary Dedication is an evening of remembrances and a way of honoring or remembering loved ones this time of year. Each candle has been sponsored in honor or memory of many individuals throughout the community.

The prelude to the evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with live holiday music provided by Melissa Herceg. The event will kick off the holiday season with the annual tree lighting ceremony, vocals from The Smoot Theatre Children's Chorus under the direction of Barbara Full with Marsha Parsons and Cathy Martin accompanying and special music by Reinnie Leavitt, Director of Cancer Services and Dock Cutlip, Director of Bio Medical Engineering. The luminary dedication and closing remarks will be presented by Kim Couch, Executive Director of the WVU Medicine Camden Clark Foundation and Steve Altmiller, President and CEO of WVU Medicine CCMC. Light refreshments will be served.

6:00 p.m. – Program to Begin

6:00 – 6:05 p.m. – Welcome by Jon Leavitt, Camden Clark Foundation Board President
6:05 – 6:10 p.m. – Invocation by David Kaufman, Pastoral Care Services Chaplain
6:10 – 6:15 p.m. – Tree Lighting with Steve Altmiller, WVU Medicine CCMC CEO
