St. Joseph’s Hospital welcomes oculoplastic surgeon Dr. John Nguyen

BUCKHANNON, W.VA. – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital is pleased to welcome John Nguyen, M.D., to its medical staff.

Dr. Nguyen received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He has special training in orbital and ophthalmic plastic surgery and is board certified by American Board of Ophthalmology.

Nguyen’s clinical focus is in oculoplastics. He will be providing eyebrow and eyelid surgery, eyelid tumor removal and reconstruction, tear duct surgery, orbital surgery, pediatric oculoplastic surgery, and BOTOX® injections and fillers.

Nguyen joins the team of nationally recognized physicians of the WVU Eye Institute. Annahita Amireskandari, M.D., Lingo Lai, M.D., Thomas Mauger, M.D., and Brian McMillan, M.D., provide care for those with cataracts. Carol Laxson, M.D., provides retinal care for conditions including diabetic macular edema, wet age-related macular degeneration, and retinal view occlusion.
