Residents lined the sidewalk and family members and friends were able to drive past, wave signs, and see their loved ones. Fifteen residents participated and about 100 family members and friends drove by.

“This was a great opportunity for our residents,” said Whitney Burnside, R.N., manager of St. Joseph’s Hospital Nursing Care Facility. “They haven’t been able to see their families or friends for almost three months. Families even came in for the event from out-of-state and many drove by several times. It was truly heart-warming for them, as for all the staff who have been working hard to keep their spirits up during this difficult time.”
