BUCKHANNON -- St. Joseph's Hospital of Buckhannon is now holding a weekly non-denominational prayer service at noon every Wednesday in the Hospital's chapel.
"A Prayer Oasis" is a service that includes prayer, music, and a scripture reading. It is designed to provide employees and the public a time to experience God's presence of peace and hope in the midst of stress and fear that may at times be a part of their lives.
"The power of prayer is an amazing thing, and this give our staff, patients, and visitors a place to come, be spiritually nourished, and ask for others to pray for their needs," Skip Gjolberg, St. Joseph's Hospital administrator, said.
