Second Annual West Virginia Grand Bash tickets on sale July 1

Early-bird tickets will be entered in $5,000 drawing

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Snap up your tickets now for the second annual West Virginia Grand Bash 2015! Proceeds from the event will benefit WVU Children’s Hospital at Ruby Memorial.

The event will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at the Ruby Community Center at Mylan Park in Morgantown.

Prizes offered include two Harley Davidson motorcycles, a Mercedes-Benz C350 Coupe, a seven-day Deluxe Disney World vacation for four, a trip for two to Italy, a Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 truck, a Tracker Pro Team 175F fishing boat, and $10,000 cash among many, many others.

Tickets are $100 each. Only one ticket holder is permitted per ticket as only one person can claim a prize. A total of 10,000 tickets are available.

Tickets purchased before Oct. 1 will be entered into an early-bird drawing for $5,000 to be held in October.

Each ticket holder is allowed to bring one guest per ticket held. Guest admission is $20 and is to be paid in cash at the gate upon entry. The event will only take place if 8,500 tickets are sold. If an adequate number of tickets are not sold, the ticket price will be returned to the ticket holder.

Doors open at 11 a.m. The drawings start at 1 p.m. leading up to the grand prize drawing at 7 p.m. Tickets will be drawn every five minutes with the exception of 4 to 5 p.m., when a WVU Children’s Hospital presentation will take place. All drawings will be selected on site. Ticket holders need not be present to win.

The first ever Grand Bash, held in January of this year, raised nearly $200,000 for WVU Children’s Hospital. More than 4,000 people attended the event, and many bought tickets who could not attend.
