OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY
Richard Meter, MD, joins the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility division. Dr. Meter practiced reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Womack Army Medical Center. He is a former assistant professor at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
ORTHOPAEDICS
John Taras, MD, joins the Department of Orthopaedics. He is a former associate professor and hand surgeon-in-chief of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Drexel University and associate professor of hand surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
SURGERY
Lynsey Biondi, MD, joins the Department of Surgery and the WVU Medicine solid organ transplant program as the physician director of transplantation and surgical director of kidney transplant. Dr. Biondi is the former program director and transplant surgeon at Lee Health System in Fort Myers, Florida and former director of pancreas transplantation at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennslyvania. She completed an abdominal transplant fellowship at the University of Alabama.
