MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Every minute, 62 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for treatment. To help those children receive the care and treatments they need, participating Dairy Queen® or DQ Grill & Chill® restaurants throughout West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Virginia will celebrate Miracle Treat Day tomorrow (July 30) to benefit WVU Children’s Hospital, one of 170 hospitals supported by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® (CMN Hospitals).

Now in its 10th year, Miracle Treat Day brings awareness and raises funds for CMN Hospitals in local communities. One in 10 children in North America is treated at CMN Hospitals each year.

For every Blizzard® Treat sold on Miracle Treat Day at participating locations, $1 or more will be donated to WVU Children’s. Like all Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals campaigns, donations raised will stay in the community to help local kids.

Over the last 31 years, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $100 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in local communities through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon campaign and other local initiatives.

The featured Miracle Treat Day “Blizzard Treat of the Day” is Oreo® which is still the most popular Blizzard Treat to date. The featured Blizzard of the Month is the ROLO® Minis Blizzard Treat, made with ROLO Minis, smooth caramel, and blended with creamy vanilla soft serve. All other Blizzard flavors are also available that day.
