BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital recently honored Jennifer Bunner, L.P.N., Medical Surgical Department, with the Values Inspired Person (VIP) Award.

The VIP Award is given bi-monthly to an employee who demonstrates the CHRIST values of the hospital: Compassion, Hospitality, Reverence, Interdependence, Stewardship, and Trust.

Jennifer’s co-workers say she is compassionate toward patients, respects their dignity by identifying and catering to their unique needs, consistently shows up with a smile, and is willing to go above and beyond.

Examples of her dedication include playing music on her cell phone to help soothe an anxious patient, working shifts as a CNA when needed, and being readily available to assist coworkers.
